I wasn't making a relationship rule, I was stating an etiquette rule. You can keep asking someone out all you want, but when rejected, if you are stupid enough to ask "but why?" you must accept the answer "I'm just afraid I can't" without illumination.

It's too bad too, since the type of person reading and listing rules like these, that they will apply to their dating lives, is similarly clueless. Another match made in heaven goes up in smoke.
