(1) Little Green Footballs selectively edited the news story to make Kerry look worse. The "terrible mistake" thing is something he said to the Egyptian Prime Minister, not the Grand Imam.

(2) The Grand Imam urged Iraqis to vote, which would suggest, to a more curious mind, that he doesn't support the suicide bombers who are trying to obstruct the election.

(3) I can't figure out what you're quoting from in the second quote there, but I followed LGF's links to a story about the Imam saying that Palestinian suicide bombers are martyrs, but that they shouldn't blow up non-combatants, or something like that. Nothing there that I see about supporting Iraqi insurgents.
