IM me if you want to know where to send the application. And as for Penske's "outable" question, if someone on this board cared to know my name and COULDN'T figure it out in about two seconds, I'd have to wonder how they passed the bar. The info I've given out about my brother and my wife alone would be more than enough.

On a happier note, betting on the Indians the last three weeks (which I've been doing) has been like a daily visit to the ATM. Sadly, the odds are starting to get prohibitive. But I've never seen a team on a roll like this. Especially when Cliff Lee's pitching. I was a little worried last night when they blew the 5-1 lead . . . silly me. Of course they put up 6 more over the last four innings.

Indians over the Cardinals in 5. Victor Martinez will be your 2005 World Series MVP.

"Rafael Palmeiro said a vitamin he received from Miguel Tejada might have caused the positive test for steroid use that led to the first baseman's suspension, an assertion his Baltimore Orioles teammate dismissed as implausible."

The question is: Is he now a bigger piece of shit than Sosa, Giambi and/or Bonds?

Jesus.

It makes him look pathetic. But he had to say something. But please. The steroid he tested positive for was injectable. Someone gives you a "vitamin B" syringe and you just shoot it? Wouldn't Miggy test positive as well?

And the White Sox are the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of the AL Central. Another collapse. How they let the A's pick up that much slack is amazing.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

You take that back! With your track record, I do not want to hear these words coming out of your mouth, or that you are betting on the Tribe. You're poison, Jerry. Poison!

I can figure out your name if I cared to, you know, and I pretty much know where to find you. So if they lose on account of you, I will find you and I will beat you to death with my Travis Hafner model bat.

Motherfucker.

I was rooting for Buehrle to hit that fucker in the head again.

The Indians always have one Big Dumb Animal. It used to be Thome. Now it's Hafner.

Not to mention the Yale reference.

I can't take this.

I feel like throwing up.
Isn't the worst part seeing the Yankee go from being on the verge of out it, to winning the division after Steinbrenner basically threatens them if they don't. Here we sit following teams that haven't had a chance of making the Playoffs for decades. The Yankees make them every year. One year it looks like they might not, and he threatens, I guess, to fire some of them if they don't make it- and they turn it around.

the White sox/ Tigers/ Brewers etc. should try that. Most of those teams couldn't find another club if they got dumped. All the main Yankees would get picked up immediately if dumped. So it should be even more effective?

Comparing a JAP from Mercer Island to the archetypical JAP from Long Island is reminiscent of the time Coltrane was wearing his Boston Marathon Age Group winner Finisher's T-shirt and a fat bald 47 year old accountant from KPMG came up to him and said, "Hey, I am a runner too, I did the Corporate Challenge Relay two years ago".

Despite Pony's bukkake link, this may be the dullest Friday in the history of the boreds. Is everybody trying to get to ACL? Please, somebody entertain me.

Oh, and because it's Friday, fuck off, skanks.

That's just mean. If you were giving me a blumpkin, I would definitely try to splash you with a giant turd.

I meant skank in an endearing way. On the internet, I, myself, am something of a skank. That said, I'm still not giving you a blumpkin. Isn't Wonk in the neighborhood?
