Truly, you are the tonic water of this board. Bitter, but not too bitter, and delightful with the right kind of liquor in you. Do you stave off malaria?

I should scroll then post, but....

There is no excuse for posting potentially outable information about someone that the person has not made public on the boards. Even if not potentially outable, posting nonpublic personal information is tremendously bad form no matter how many insults one has received.

Well, you're right about Jeff George, I mean, he must be 50 by now. But Don Nelson is pretty proven, I can't fault that choice, can't be any worse than before.

That's ok. I'm going to ask my boyfriend whether or not "First Nations" is more pretentious than "Native American." As an Irish Catholic from Connecticut, he is well-positioned to answer this sort of question.

I'd have thought that any Canadian might have an opinion on that one, but if you need to ask an American help, that's OK too.

"Native American" is generally not used in Canada. "First Nations" and "Aboriginal" are used. However, the native people I grew up with didn't really use those terms. You were "status" or "non-status." "Status" means you don't have to pay tax. I'm not sure of the relative pretentiousness of the terms.
