Yes. The tiptronic in the Turbo is more sophisticated than the one in the other vehicles. The Carrera S was a slug in the tiptronic. Plus the top speed is lower. It sucked in traffic - either way.

Covette's been doing this for years.

By the time you jam your left foot down, bring it back the tiptronic (in the Turbo) has already shifted - the computer is smoother and faster than the human.
Eventually it will come to the S, but for now, that one's a toad.
