Is it tacky to wear an anniversary band/engagement ring and another partial anniverary band on top of that or is it ticky-tacky overkill?

The question is Merely Tacky or Ticky-Tacky Overkill?

I guess my answer is it would depend on the settings and the size of your fingers/hands. Of course things like this just come down to individual taste anyway, so if you like the look of all three rings on your finger, by all means wear them all.

I guess so? One is channel set partially around. The other band looks like the similar to the Tiffany x-s with small inlaid diamonds partially around and the solitaire is simple thin band and maybe 1 or 1.5. hmmm. I notice it is noticed more when all three are piled on but in a good way noticed or in a "she's frickin' tacky" way.

Don't worry about it. I'm sure whatever you do will be ticky-tacky overkilly.

The redesigned Fords don't look that bad (Mustang, Fusion, and Five Hundred), but I wouldn't buy one because Honda and Toyota make better cars for the money.
I actually considered buying one of those Ford or Chevy taxi-type cars, with the heavy duty suspension.

Every time I get into a cab it seems to have 350k miles.

I'll cut you a break b/c you're from Canada, and you schooled in the East. Cal (there is only one), also known as the University of California (the original), or Berkeley, is arguably one of the finest institutions of higher learning in the world. UCLA, which copied Cal's song (the exact damn song), and then made pale imitations of both its mascot and colors (Golden Bears/Bruins, blue and gold/powder blue and gold), is a fine school. But it's always behind Cal, and probably always will be. UCLA students, in keeping with their school's longstanding tradition of poorly imitating Cal, began to use the same taunts that Cal fans originated in the 90's, and who probably have since abandoned since the westwood sheep began apeing it too. UCLA students are also probably behind the recent Dukes of Hazzard, Bewitched, The Stepford Wives and the Manchurian Candidate movies.

The end.

  • Cop fired after asking for date

A Chandler police officer has been fired after he pulled over a woman under the guise of a traffic stop but instead asked her out on a date.

Following an internal investigation, Officer Nathan Dixon, 37, was dismissed in late August - the second Chandler officer to be fired this year.

The woman called the Professional Standards Section of the Chandler Police Department on July 12 and told them she was pulled over on July 8 at 2:15 a.m. by an officer in a marked patrol car who asked her out on a date, according to a dismissal letter to Dixon from Chandler police Chief Sherry Kiyler.

Police confirmed the incident when the woman also presented a note Dixon allegedly wrote with his phone number on it, said Sgt. Rick Griner, a Chandler police spokesman.

I have thought how it must be tough your first few months as a cop because eveyone seems suspious too me- I would be pulling everyone over at first, but I hadn't even thought of the "ask out/pullover". FWIW, I would have sufficient composure to not write the note.

Nathan Dixon? His parents must not have said his name out loud before putting it down on the birth certificate.
