I know you think I was untruthful and mean in my evaluation, but hypothetically speaking, if I actually thought you were chubby and not pretty or cute, how could I have said so without you thinking I was mean? Seriously, how would you have drafted a response given that hypothetical?

Is the only way to not be mean to say you are pretty? Maybe I should have blamed the lighting?

When he did it last year, his goal was to finish under ten and a half hours, and he finished right under nine. He had no idea what to expect the first race, and he was just really hoping to finish it. If you don't finish in under 12 hours, they don't consider that you've finished. This time around, he knew what to expect and had some more lofty goals.

He said he was pretty blown away when he got passed by a girl and never saw her again. And later he got passed by a guy on a one speed. There were even a couple of tandems up there.
