mound ball is the only reason I know of to go to the ballpark and sit through any portion of a baseball game. I'd add hot dogs, but I'm not much of a fan of processed meat. bring on the hot dogs/meat jokes!

Four months. Off and on. For me, the casual sex thing only worked if I was actually interested in someone else who was unavailable for one reason or another. If I was totally unattached and not interested enough in the casual sex guy to want it to turn into a relationship, I eventually would get sick enough of him to call it quits anyway. I think 4-6 months is the max I can drag out new person lust without making some sort of yea or nay judgment on personality, etc.
