More Musical Hell

Today at lunch "I Am A Woman In Love" or whatever it's called, was on. I think it's Streisand? Or possibly Linda Rondstat or however her name is spelled. Bleah.

Now I'm confused. When they tell the story, it's "blowing strippers for money".

(Fits the "re:" line better, too.)

See? You are all far, far better off with Barry Manilow.

I thought someone had mistakenly sent her 9/5 jpg to me instead of Leagl.

Turns out it was from J.Crew. They're trying to sell pants.
And you do not see the sad, but true, commodity analogy?

Very expensive potatoes.

I think it was Streisand and Barry Gibb. Still better than Manilow.

Blasphemer. They cannot match the glory of his flouncy rainbow shirt no matter how hard they try.

Chocolate Bars for Better Health

Dark chocolate is good for your blood pressure:

This calls for some dark-chocolate-covered strawberries. Who needs all those unhealthy carbs and lame vegetables I usually eat for dinner?

That's all right - you'll always have substance. And Paris. And bon-bons in the rain at a sidewalk cafe.

Oh, wait a minute -- you're in Texas.

Obviously if I did not include it in my post, I did not see it, despite the fact that the match.com girl with the perfect pair in the blue bikini top was sitting right there, next to my inbox. But she did not look sad. Maybe she does not know what an analogy is.

We have rain here. And sidewalks, most places. And candy. And cafes.

Damn pretentious yankee snobs.
