Speaking of hotties, did anyone see Colin Farrel on Leno last night? Except for the fact that they kept bleeping him, I thought it was cute when the lady who won the biggest lottery ever grabbed his hand and wouldn't let go.

The New York Daily News is spoiling the fun for tonight's Video Music Awards. They report that according to a spy at rehearsals, Britney Spears will appear in a white wedding dress on top of a giant wedding cake while singing 'Like a Virgin,' in tribute to Madonna's number at the 1984 VMAs. Then Christina Aguilera will take the stage, dressed identically, and do the same routine. After that, Madonna and Missy Elliott come out and sing Madonna's latest hit, 'Hollywood'. Jennifer Lopez was supposed to be involved too but she had to back out because of filming commitments in Canada.

I don't think it's really the same. Jenna was nowhere near as hateful as Alison. Vapid and dumb, but not hateful. Plus, Jenna won the final three immunity competitions, including the crucial endurance one, thus proving her mettle and showing herself to be a worthy champion. I was surprised, but not shocked, that she beat Matthew; it might have been a case of "Rob dragged Matthew to where he is, kicking and screaming, and he was a lucky sonofabitch, and I'll be damned if I'm going to vote for that nut-job."

Alison, meanwhile, is a psycho hose-beast, who will probably come in second to Erika. Erika has the "Lisa" thing going for her, in the sense that she looks a bit like last year's champion. I like Erika's chances a lot at this point.

Yeah, but if Erika wins she'll just spend the money on stupid stuff, like another pink hat or some more pink boots, maybe with fur on the top or something. Agreed, Alison is hateful and I think Jun would be smart to get her ass voted off, she'll stab anyone in the back. I think Donny is finally seeing her for what she really is, I hope he dumps her.

A full page ad would be a subtle way of communicating that fact in comparison to bringing back Lilith, or Diane, or Lilith and Diane, for guest spots.

I don't know anyone who still watches Frasier. Then again, I don't know anyone who's ever watched The King of Queens, and that's a top-ten show, even though it has nothing to do with gay people.

I know I'm a day late with this, but I finally got around to watching Tuesday's episode and there is no doubt that Franklin is the straight. The fact that he was paired with Sean is good evidence, and the fact that he acts straighter than Abba's hair is also good evidence, but the best evidence is the fact that when James was asking him about his first dating experiences he said "It wasn't until college that I came out of the closet "

I have never heard a gay man, when talking about coming out, actually say that he came "out of the closet". It's always, "When I came out..." or "I didn't tell people until..." or something along those lines. Saying "I didn't come out of the closet until college" is a totally straight-man-pretending-to-be-gay thing to do.

I haven't been watching this show, but that is a very good observation. I've not thought about it before, but rarely do I ever use that entire phrase. I'll say I came out in law school, or I didn't come out until I was 23. Or being closeted sucked, or something like that. But never, I didn't come out of the closet until law school.

But I haven't seen the guy, he could just be a dork.
