3 things.

1. I hate Lisa Rinna. I don't know why. I don't even know her. Still.

2. For a woman who is so lean, she is incredibly thick-waisted.

3. There's something terribly wrong with the skin on her belly. She's 40.
There is something wrong with the skin on her belly but what does it have to do with being 40?

Trump fires Carolyn.

http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/msnbc/Co..._10a.widec.jpg

The Post story attributed Kepcher’s firing to excessive self-promotion as a star at the expense of her performance at her day job, an account echoed for The Associated Press by a person close to the situation. The person insisted on anonymity because it was a personnel matter.

That's too bad. I liked her more than George.

It looks like the skin of a 60 yo. Pretty leathery and a little loose for 40. Or maybe I just hang with women with tighter skin.

I don't know what it has to do with being 40, but she looks like she lost a lot of weight quickly so her skin is kind of loose. It looks sort of like one of those gastic bypass patients you see on daytime TV who need plastic surgery to remove all of their extra skin.

Can that happen because of pregnancy later in life? (not that I have any idea whether she has kids and if so, when she had them)

She had a kid in mid-1998 and another in mid-2001. I assumed it had to do with pregnancy. I wonder whether the 43 is accurate or shaves a few years off.

I can't decide if this is more funny-ironic or ironic-funny. In either case, she should look at it as a blessing. I'd hate working for Trump. Then again, I wouldn't last long if I ever did. First low blood sugar moment, I'd heave his pompous bad hair ass out a window.

Software Question

Yes, I know there is a separate technology board but I want advice from basic computer users, not uber geeks.

My antivirus, firewall and anti-spyware protection are expiring pronto and I want to know whether to stick with what I've got or change.

I've been using McAfee Anti-Virus and Personal Firewall and Webroot anti-spyware. Is there something better for an average web user or should I renew what I've got? Is Norton better?

I'm in the process of switching PCs so a software that I could transfer to the new machine would be preferable.

Talk about rotten timing. Let the future husband give away $44 billion and THEN get married.

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett married his longtime companion, Astrid Menks, in a private ceremony Wednesday, the Omaha World-Herald reported in a copyrighted story in its Thursday editions.

Buffett’s daughter, Susan, hosted the wedding at her Omaha home. She said her father and Menks, 60, were married by Douglas County District Judge Patricia Lamberty in a 15-minute ceremony on Buffett’s 76th birthday.

“It’s her only and his last (wedding),” Susan Buffett said, recalling her father’s take on the ceremony.

I love the name Astrid. I don't know why. There was a girl in my son's camp this summer called Astrid, and I felt compelled to make friends with Astrid's mother - because anyone who could come up with such a good name was sure to be cool.

I was not wrong.

I have McAfee and haven't had any problems. My ex-boyfriend works for Symantec and swears that Norton is better, but he still hasn't sent me a free copy so until then, I'll stick with McAfee.

I, too, like the name Astrid, and would have seriously considered it for a girl had I had one. Did you know that a traditional Scandinavian nickname for Astrid is Sassa?

tm

PS I think Lisa Rinna's belly skin looks exactly like what you would expect from a woman in her mid-40s with two children and effectively zero body fat. Lots of women in her same boat have it a lot worse.

Before you buy anything, make sure your ISP isn't giving it away. Comcast, Yahoo, and AOL all provide McAfee free of charge for subscribers.
