9:00 Deliver Brazenette to school.
9:15 Arrive in gym parking lot. Realise iPod left at home. Depart gym parking lot posthaste.
9:20 Arrive at McMansion. Answer email from paramour.
9:22 Decide to take a nap.
11:43 Arise from nap when phone rings to confirm an appointment for Monday's facial and hot stone massage.
11:45 until current Chat with friends on the internets via Lawtalkers and IM. Arrange to UPS ACL ticket to beautiful girl who is meeting me in Texas.

God. I cannot tell you how much I miss practicing law.
Is your company hiring?

Bitch.
I was amazed at that it took her only thirty minutes from wake-up to deliver the kid to school, including time for stretching. I say Brazen is working on a career writing fiction.

Since he was at night a few years, assclown.
Good news! After a few years in a night program, he'd have a degree! He failed his last semester?

You know, I was toying with the idea of making a comeback from retirement -- and I may do it someday, but that day is not today. Tomorrow doesn't look good either.

See above schedule for a glimpse of the reason why.

This is not cheering me up. I just euthanized my cat, I have the worst cold ever (for the 6th time this year), I have had to spend every day this week "managing expectations" (as in saying "sorry, that's not going to be ready"), self-evaluations are due soon (great timing), and ...

I'm not even supposed to BE here today!!!

It's true, actually. In the space of one episode of Go, Diego, Go we were packed up and out the door.

Lunch packed. Clothing applied to squirming 3 year old. We even had to change to an alternate pair of shoes when the second hot pink croc could not be located.

The Brazenette prefers her cereal sans milk, which means it travels quite easily.

You know, ppnyc, no offense and all that, but I think that were most people to have the opportunity to have b'n'b's lifestyle (or something even approaching it), they'd jump at the chance.

I think most people here could have your lifestyle, and yet, they don't choose it.

I understand if you're trying to convince yourself, but you're really not convincing anyone else. And no matter how relentlessly you pursue this line of "my life is better than yours", no one here (but you, apparently) would choose the life of paralegaling over b'nb's lifestyle.

We could all be paralegals if we wanted that.
