I guess I will have to see if raping in the pooper carries a greater penalty in Pennsylvania than missionary-style rape. My Google task for the day.
I think the deviate thing is probably analogous to "contemporary community standards. The more interesting question I think is how could the charge be for an "involuntary" sexual act? WTF does that mean "Oops, I meant to go there, but it went there instead? Thoughts?

P.S. It's a good day to be back on the board. :D

Came across an article from late 2002 on the coldest people in hollywood.

It's pretty funny.

You'll like it TM it comments on Madonna, who is number 8 on the list:

"Swept away by her self-importance, the aging material girl still can't comprehend the plain and simple fact regarding her glaring deficit of acting talent. Perhaps she was mistaken in allowing her husband to direct her latest dud: Guy Richie is a director, not an alchemist. "

No comparison of course. I just think it is funny that in his bio he felt the need to add the parenthetical "(one of the best business schools in the world)". Similar to paig's disgust with people calling themselves classy. If you have to say it...

True. But then, he's probably compensating for a very small penis.

I suppose we are kindred spirits of a sort, even though you're into physical restraints, and I only conceptual ones.

Great. A pedophile with incomprehensible jokes. I'm starting to remember why you never saw the celler.

You're just bitter because you got suckered.

Edited to remove the second half of my post, which I've decided to send to Bilmore by PM instead.

Satre's pharma. Cube

Daily intake:

litres coffee
litres alcohol
40 cigs
12 corydrane tablets (mixture of speed & aspirin, then available over-the-counter, recommended daily allowance was 2)

Some journalist finds this excessive. It doesn't seem so to me.

A nice little suspense movie is "Cube" (1998). It has an ensemble cast of unknown actors. A number of people wake up in 14x14x14(?) cells, with a sliding trapdoor on each wall and the ceiling and floor. They awaken without food or water and set upon trying to find a way out. Nothing outstanding, but fun nontheless. I think BRC would like it.

Moving on to the VMAs, I thought Chris Rock saved the day. Concur with str8 on the direction/sound problems/video problems. The reason Kelly Osbourne had to beg for an ovation for Duran Duran is that the video package about how the band was revolutionary etc.

The kisses were medium spicy. Was I the only one who thought that Britney and Christina were going to kiss at some point in the performance? The performance reinforced what we already know:
(1) Madonna can't sing.
(2) Madonna has great stylists.
(3) Britney can't sing either.
(4) Britney needs a better stylist.
(5) Christina can sing.
(6) Christina needs a stylist who has never been convicted of pandering.

I do like the idea of Madonna having to consumate the ceremony with Brit and Xtina on pay-per-view.

"Hurt" by Johnny Cash won best cinematographer for Mark Romanek (who directed One Hour Photo). It was the best video of the year. I saw it a couple of times while channel surfing and was struck by how powerful it was. It reminds many of the emotional punch that "Jeremy" had, but I think it recalls Radiohead's "Just."

I really like Missy, but she should not have won best video. Best use of a prepubescent white girl in a dance video? Sure. Best backwards singing in a video? Yup. Best? Un unh.

It's sad, because there are videos that rise to the level of art.
Christina lost all the weight she was packing on a month ago. Perhaps she picked up a few binge/purge habits from Mariah. God knows she's picked up her habit of "never enough notes in a phrase". That being said, I thought she looked pretty hot, she definitely sings better than the other kids [except Beyonce] and struts better too.

Say what you will about Good Charlotte - but they were one of the few acts that actually played live.

After watching everyone fawn over 50 "got no flow" Cent [and wondering why], I harken back to Thurgreed-Billmore's discussion of misogeny in rap. And I watch as they are glorifying pimps and saluting their "pimp hands being strong". Amazing.

The Cash video was overrated and the song wasn't so great either. American 1 and 3 were much better albums. This was a sympathy vote.

Beyonce is gonna be a superstar - if she isnt already.
