CAN YOU DIG IT? CAAAAAAAAAAAAN YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU DIG AAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? Reminds me of another very underated movie: King of New York -- Walken, Snipes, Fishbourne, Caruso. Great Flick Thurgreed(I never killed anyone...that..didn't...deserve it -- Now WALKEN out-cools Samuel L. Jackson every day and twice on Sundays)Marshall |

Good to know, except I was talking to Bilmore. And he's probably a size queen. |

I suspect that some of the panelists for "I Love the '70s" were given advance notice of the topics. In particular, Mo Rocca, Michael Ian Black, and to a lesser degree Hal Sparks always looked polished enough that they'd given some thought to their witticisms before delivering them. |

What is sad is that, given the advance notice, most of these people still have nothing to say worth the breath they expended on it. "Princess Leia had stupid hair." Gee, thanks. |
One small step on the road toward the long-awaited robotic sex toy
So, you know the Roomba? The robotic vacuum cleaner? Well, now there's a webpage for a small community of Übernerds who want to share information on hacking their Roombas. That's right --- we, as a society, will now have to address the social repercussions of hacking a vacuum to change its behavior.

That said, what's the deal with his new release? Where he gets back billing to the Rock? I saw the poster and could not believe that the Rock and Seann William Scott get billing over Walken? Edited to add...back to the jungle? Return to the jungle? Title is something like that. |
I love the "I love the 70s"
Michael Ian Black's cumultive performance in "I love the 70s" and "I love the 80s" should garner him an Emmy. Mo Rocca and Hal Sparks rise up to meet the challenge on rare occasions, but it's MIB's world. I cannot WAIT for "I love the 80s Strikes Back," coming in October! It's a good time to be alive.
Warriors was big in certain circles around my high school. The dialogue on this board today shows why it's going to be remade by a big hollywood studio in a year or two. It'll be good and slick, but by its nature has no chance of having the cool cache of the original; kind of like the Italian Job. I've always wanted to try to fight my way from Central Park back to Coney. But how come they're supposedly safe once they get there? Even if it is their home turf, there's no way they wouldn't get their ass beat by everyone else. IThough I wasn't a New York gang-member in the late 70s, I kind of have the feeling it captures its time and place perfectly, much the way Swingers did with mid-90s LA. |
