The gymsuit wasn't the only thing that cat ate.

That's what you get for being a fat. Gymsuit's a big pile of garbage anyhow.

Arthur "Killer" Kane, bassist for the New York Dolls passed away on July 13th due to complications from leukemia. He succumbed to the disease in a Los Angeles hospital at age 55. According to Rolling Stone, Kane's death is made all the more tragic by the fact that he only learned he had leukemia on the morning of his death.
I'm not sure why it is more tragic to die on the very day you find out you've got a disease. I'd rather go that way than linger on in pain.

Keep in mind that the exact line was "According to Rolling Stone, Kane's death is made all the more tragic . . . ." Maybe Rolling Stone is the Alanis Morrisette of tragedy.

Besides, I hardly think that Kane got the diagnosis at a routine check up, and then keeled over dead upon hearing the news. More likely he was quite ill for a while and no diagnosis had been confirmed, and the diagnosis+death was coincidental.

I thought the same thing. No one in my family has ever had heart disease. Both sides die of cancer... long, shitty, nausea-and-wretching-pain-filled cancer. If I get it, I'm renting a fast car and driving it off the first cliff I can find. On very heavy acid and a pint og Old Fitzgerald.

Why anyone would want lucidity as imminent death approaches baffles me. I've seen it up close. Fuck that. Its miles better to lose your mind on the way or drop dead suddenly.

Easy E is still the craziest "I'm sick?" celebrity death. The guy didn't know he had full blown AIDS until two weeks before he died.

But Nelson Rockefellor still ranks #1 on best deaths.

But she kept it very secret. I guess that explains the weight loss.

NEW YORK - “Sopranos” star Edie Falco was diagnosed last year with breast cancer, but has completed her treatment and is healthy, a representative for the 41-year-old actress told The Associated Press.
