Has anyone else tried the re-released ginger altoids? They are much, much hotter (and less sweet and less ginger-y) than the ones before. Yes, I did a taste test (but it was an equally freakish friend who had the original altoids in addition to the new ones).

If I bought my ginger 'toids two months ago at CPWM, which ones are they? The current ones seem pretty strong, but managable and quite tasty. Did they used to be all weak and shit? I think the intensity of the ginger 'toids I hae is pretty close to the various other flavors I've consumed (original, cinnamon and wintergreen).

Keller'd is good, but its really even meaner than "whiff". for those who would like something less confrontational, perhaps this passage can help:

Anne had Helen hold one hand under the water. Then she spelled "W-A-T-E-R" into Helen's other hand. It was electric! The feeling turned into a word. Immediately, Helen bent down and tapped the ground; Anne spelled "earth." Helen's brain flew; that day, she learned 30 words.

I would suggest that spelling W-A-T-E-R, makes the point, but carries a certain constructive criticism tone that might make some feel better.

I like them. I was not comparing them to other flavors of altoids; I was comparing them to the ginger altoids that were out a while ago. In the interim, ginger altoids were discontinued. Apparently popular demand brought them back.

I have no way of knowing which yours are. if you suck on one, does your mouth burn for at least 10 min afterwards? If so, probably new.
