Hmm. I wonder whose vacation plans are going to win?

I feel like throwing stuff. I feel like saying fuck this and walking out. I just threw my stress ball against the wall. Fuck you, stress ball.
I concede.

On that note, I'm going to get something to drink.

You're going on vacation with the partner you work for? Wow, that sounds like a close relationship.

What? You didn't watch the Amazing Race 28? Or whatever number they're on now.
No, I didn't watch it, but it's on Tivo, and I did accidently see the interview with the losers which was on right as I was switching channels to watch the news. So, debatable as to whether I'll actually watch the 2 hour extravaganza. Unless someone tells me it's totally worth it. ncs? Less?

Are you deliberately such a fucking idiot or does it come naturally? Either way, it's not working for you.

Hey, at least you get a vacation. And you get to make it a year in advance. I have given up trying to plan a vacation in advance since everytime I do, some stupid hearing or trial or some shit gets pushed back and I get screwed. "Sorry honey, you know that trip I promised you for your birthday? Well forget about it. But we can use a 3 day weekend to do something. Maybe."

It is worth it for the following line:

"My implants have frozen."

Alas, I was chained to my desk last night, so I have no report for you. Tivo will tell me sometime later in the week.

MIAMI - The Internet auction house eBay Inc. has reversed itself and is allowing bids for half of a 10-year-old grilled cheese sandwich that its owner says bears the image of the Virgin Mary.

Diana Duyser, of Hollywood, put the sandwich up for sale last week, drawing bids as high as $22,000 before eBay pulled the item Sunday night. The page was viewed almost 100,000 times before being taken down.

An e-mail Duyser received from eBay said the sandwich broke its policy, which "does not allow listings that are intended as jokes."
(Yes, because you wouldn't want to upset the ghost in the jar)
The auction was back on Tuesday afternoon with a top bid of $5,100. The winning bidder also has to pay $9.95 for shipping. In mocking response, two similar items were later posted _ grilled cheese sandwiches bearing the images of the Virgin Mary's used gum and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Duyser thought eBay would be the best place to show off the sandwich, made on plain white bread and American cheese and cooked with no oil or butter. She said she took a bite after making it 10 years ago and saw a face staring back at her from the bread.

Duyser, 52, put the sandwich in a clear plastic box with cotton balls and kept it on her night stand.

Eeewww. Who keeps a sandwich on their nightstand for 10 years?

Only then is Coors Light an appropriate beverage. Assuming of course that the ice in the cooler has all melted and evaporated, leaving no trace.
Coors Light is a fine tasty beverage....

... after you've been swilling scotch in a bar all night, look at the watch, and realize you have an hour to sober up and drive home.

A spa that you have to reserve way in advance. I've been going there every year for many years.

Remember Abba? She ran into some famous guy there. And I can't remember who it is for the life of me. Dan Hill?

Speaking of which, I ran into Vince Vaughn on a late Sunday night Southwest flight out of Vegas recently. It seemed appropriate.

The Virgin Mary? Looks more like Veronica Lake to me.

One point in favor of it being Blessed Cheese - it does appear miraculously well preserved after 10 years.
