The warning doesn't come only from threatening your job, but from how people feel about seeing it, i.e. when whomever it was posted the link to the woman who had jumped off a building.

Not on par with that, but personally, I don't like looking at images of animals hit by cars as a joke, and I would have appreciated a warning, which would have kept me from opening it.

So there will be warnings for such things.
