Once upon a time I worked in a battered women's shelter, and one of the women I worked with had a crazy ex who happened to be in law enforcment. Every time she tried to move elsewhere, the guy would put out a search for her and he'd track her down within a month, bring her home, and beat the shit out of her. The woman was a mortician by trade, but she was pretty sure that she'd have to give that up because he'd just end up tracking her through the licensure process.

Anyhow, she was asking me about her options, and since he was pretty persistant, she was thinking about trying to change her identity so he couldn't track her down. I couldn't really advise her on anything other than the legal aspects of changing her name and restraining orders. While I was explaining the name change process, she blurted out "I know a lot of dead people and their information and stuff, can we use any of that?" I told her that we couldn't use someone else's information, and continued with my little lecture on the name change process. She left a few days later, and I have no idea what happened to her. I wouldn't be surprised if one of her former clients had a miraculous recovery.

I don't think so. If you've slept with a REALLY hot girl, and your buddies say "man you're lucky -- I'd love to fuck her", the normal response is "trust me - nothing to write home to mom about - she was a terrible lay"...In fact I've heard this quite frequently.

Unfortunately you really can never tell. Mild-mannered Susie could be a fuck-beast, while drinking, smoking hot Tara could lay there like a stiff board...

In fact, it's usually the cute but not uber-hot girls that absolutely go ape-shit in the sack.

I am going to guess that pretty much everyone is going to say that they'd not get a pass, but they'd actually invite the person back to bed because he or she is so fucking hot. I mean, don't we all get that much more excited to fuck someone because we're really, really attracted to them? Attractiveness adds to the whole thing, otherwise we'd be asking for references instead of just trying to jump the bones of the hotties that we see. Sure, if nothing improves after a few tries, and you're getting bored, we'll be more willing to move on, but I'm pretty sure that the hotties that aren't any good in bed, in general, get more time to try out than the non-hotties. (Note: non-hotties doesn't mean unattractive, just not in that 0.01 percent).

No guy* walks on a really beautiful women because she's too passive, uncreative etc, at least not for a few months. This is because of to the whole question of what is "good" from a guy's perspective. See monolouge on subject in Clerks.

I, for one, keep my cars in impeccable condition. I will not be seen driving a rat. Maintenance is usually included (free oil changes, inspections, etc.). I even wax said leased car and condition the leather.
They inspect the car when you turn it in - they don't, however, check to see wheter you've kept proper inflation. But they do check for "undue wear." Not to be confused with underwear.
All maintenance is tracked in the computer, FYI.

There are as many people who ignore maintenance on their "purchased" cars - check any used car lot.

I also will normally give someone several chances. The first time is awkward enough.
