If you were draftable, you'd never support this war. Everybody knows that.
For the 10th time, I looked into enlisting to fight the War on Terror. I was told I was too old.

You know that they have the internet in Iraq. WORLD. wide web. It's not I wouldn't still be here. Frankly, for all you know, I am in Iraq.

I thought Brazil was in jail.

Belated Anniversary

Last Wednesday was the 7th anniversary of the day then yet-to-be-impeached (ex) President Clinton uttered his second most memorable words:

"Indeed I did have a relationship with Ms Lewinsky that was not appropriate. In fact, it was wrong. I misled people, including my wife. I deeply regret that."

Is "misled" the same as "lie"?

OK, because I chose not to accept my ROTC scholarship and go to law school, unlike many of my other friends, who took the free education, served in the Gulf 1 or Bosnia, went back to grad school and are now doing your research as juniors, I am a chickenhawk.

Fine. That was my bad decision then and now my cross to bear.

What have you offered our country, other than dissent? Other than bile, what have you really done, Mr. whiny suburban gas-guzzler?

Pity, I figured after all these years, you knew me better than that.

Whereas I know you fairly well. You don't support anything. To paraphrase that Groucho song - whatever it is "You're against it!!!"

What does Iron's getting a Kerry email have to do that accusation?
It has to do with the simple fact that the tone and words were identical.

Or does it? If you watch television these days, arguing past the point raised seems to be a valid rebuttal. But then, everyone on television arguing has shit for brains.
I just responded. What have you done, sluggard, to feel worthy of critiquing others?

They may have been correct.

I have never served and I support the war and it has nothing to do with how old I am. On my eighteenth birthday I signed up for the draft. And I have supported every military engagement since that day. I supported Gulf War I and I was right in the zone. Same goes for the bombing of Serbia.

I think we are into the realm of kissed and told. Or kissed and implied by minions and omission.

In a word, yes. If you pay attention to the numbers, it's pretty clear that the administration has been issuing inflated projections so that they can claim that the massive deficits are actually good news because they're better than was projected. This has been going on for a few years.

Yes, except for fiscal years 1977 through 1980 and 1993 through 2000.

Coyness? when you reach a level of popularity that your personal life becomes the source of grist for this mill, and the mob just won't let you live your life? Truly, he has little choice to respond on some level. And enlisting a well-liked veteran poster to handle press, and manage the twists and turns he encounters? that's not coy that's cagey.
