Belated Anniversary

Last Wednesday was the 7th anniversary of the day then yet-to-be-impeached (ex) President Clinton uttered his second most memorable words:

"Indeed I did have a relationship with Ms Lewinsky that was not appropriate. In fact, it was wrong. I misled people, including my wife. I deeply regret that."

Is "misled" the same as "lie"?

Funny, as a kid, they told me TV would make me an idiot. But a whole lotta adults seem to follow its lead. Maybe I should watch more. Learn myself some debatin skills.

I have never served and I support the war and it has nothing to do with how old I am. On my eighteenth birthday I signed up for the draft. And I have supported every military engagement since that day. I supported Gulf War I and I was right in the zone. Same goes for the bombing of Serbia.

In a word, yes. If you pay attention to the numbers, it's pretty clear that the administration has been issuing inflated projections so that they can claim that the massive deficits are actually good news because they're better than was projected. This has been going on for a few years.
