There are various modifications on a similar theme. My favorite is reminiscent of the Iron Maiden, actually. It involves a metal "boot" that closes around the lower leg of the victim. Spikes protrude from the inside of the boot and slice through the flesh of the lower leg and wedge into the bone (and ensure the thing won't come off). Then, to add insult to injury, boiling oil is poured into the boot so that the flesh disintigrates, leaving the victim with just a bone for a lower leg, but with a fashionable (and heavy!!) boot. Nice, huh? Who comes up with this shit?

Yes, season premier was 2 weeks ago - I watched 2 weeks worth last night. Was worth watching since the hottest single guy I've seen in a very long time (on a reality show - but needed some acne medication) made for very nice eye-candy.
Season ender next week? Wow - maybe nothing happened and they ran out of stuff to run. Of course, running 2 hours last night probably sucked the material dry.
