Say what you will, this guy has a knack for getting press for the most mundance activities. I can't wait to read about his next trip to the dentist.

Is there an official in Mexico we can bribe to petition the US to have PT extradited? He needs to pay his debt to society.

I disagree. Forgiveness doesn't necessarily mean agreeing to cary on with the person socially. You can forgive someone entirely and still not want to have any contact with them at all. And even believe that, despite having forgiven them and let the matter go in your own heart, publicly shaming them will help them mend their sinful ways. Forgiveness doesn't mean acting like the offending action was OK, or ignoring your own beliefs about what is decent to continue a friendship or even acquaintanceship with someone who could ever behave in the offensive manner.

Though I agree that it is often not easy to separate the two.

I think this is a very hard question that defines the differences between many different religions. If Christians everywhere could get over their differences on this issue, I think the papist/anti-papist stuff would be easy.

I have great admiration for anyone who can make this assumption, but I also think that where continuing actions or attitudes suggest that no repetence has occurred such people may be blessed fools. Of course, I'd rather be blessed than damned.

Just some thoughts from another person on the road.

While they never stop loving each other, they love God more.

But the poem has so much more feeling to it.

Until you got to the parking lot part, I thought you were still talking about Mary Magdaline, or mary with a mandolin, or whatever. I liked it better that way.

This forgiveness talk is boring. But sinning fucking rawks. Even if my sinning these days is mostly limited to things like gluttany and lust. Oh, and sloth. And there's always the coveting.

I'm no Rush fan, but who anointed Al Franken as the anti-Rush? Calling the guy a "big fat idiot" is all he's got?
