I invented it singlehandedly. You popularized it.

Since Spanky has been bitchiing about other's avatars, while his very own is the King of Suck, can I nominate this to be the new Spankatar?

the too/to may be the source of the feeling stupid. AITYD is and I think you do. Don't know the other one -- the rt at the end may be replaced texan.

People just make them up and then it's a "fun" game to guess. Or so I'm told.

Oh. It's "and so does rt" -- a little joke about how balt speaks for RT.

and I 3 or 4 the new avatar, but someone needs to size it.

Please. Any comic geek could tell you it's the New Son / Gambit storyline from 7 years ago in the X-Men.

I am perfectly willing to take on this Avatar but I think it needs a new name then. What was the name of Steve Martin's character where he and Akroyd played tacky foreign players who never got any action?

If you have a fondness for Martin, why not just go with The Jerk? It might help you in politics debates to at least have an accurate moniker.

Almost nobody's moniker matches the avatar.

But weren't they just "two wild and crazy guys"? I really don't think that suits you, no offense.

You sell the Spanster short. The jury’s out on whether he’s got a split personality.

Dr. Dolittle/Capt. Kangaroo with the neighborhood pre-pubescents by day... Serbian stripper paramour by night.

One day those worlds will collide, and we'll read about it. Not here.

"Spanky" fits almost any guy, really. I would say that he should have a monkey avatar with that name, but monkey avatars are really just for Flinty I think.

Where is that little monkey, anyway?

Please pay attention. THis wanst about fonding Steve Martin. Its about synchronicity.

But I think if Spanky is going with characters that may be so stupid they could be confused for smart, then its

Peter Sellers is not hanging out in any billionaire's house.

But I'd love to see him run for governor. He'd get my vote. Twice.

Let's see. You live in a multi million dollar home (in my mind at least), spend a great deal of time wandering through and wondering about nature, have that British Gentleman quality about you, make people wonder if you are an idiot, an idiot savant or just a savant, and are wanted by nutty spinsters.

Where is Flinty?

Chance also wouldn't be leaving 4 unanswered messages then showing up at a workplace.

I'm thinking more of a few DeNiro roles from 20 years ago that might be better.

I have a proposal for Book Club. Blink by Malcom Gladwell. Has anyone read it. It has gotten rave reviews and I saw the guy on book notes on C-SPAN and it seemed pretty interesting.

Thoughts?

In June, it appears, and then yesterday and today. There's a handy-dandy search function on the site, and "gladwell" is not a word used much.
