Sadly I do. She quit the program/was forced out after the producers found (gasp!) a mirror in her bedside table. Merline made it to the pageant with no competition.
So, was that pre or post op?

Last time you claimed you read it on an airplane. Which is it? As Oscar Wilde always said, credibility is dear to purchase but quick to sell.

This site actually costs something to keep running.

so, has she been interviewed or anything? Will we get to see her transformation in the tabloids? How did she get a mirror anyway?

I prefer the term "Free-Rider," which has a more Steppenwolf kinda vibe. Getcher motah runnin' indeed. FWIW. NTTAWWT.

But if you need cash I can put you in touch with an intriguing individual from central Africa who has e-mailed me with a fool-proof and risk-free proposal. PM me for details.

I'm not aware of any interviews/tabloid stories yet. It sounded like she just went to the drugstore and bought it, but I'm not exactly sure. I think they did their own shopping while on the show - that's how a couple of the contestants ended up being busted for buying ice cream and sausage during their 1200 calorie-per-day diets.

I find this incredibly fascinating. What happens if the wander by a sunglass kiosk or the lipstick display and happen to see a mirror?

These are awesome. I'm pretty sure Philip Kaplan is my uncle. At the very least, that is a picture of him. Uncanny. Although my uncle is actually pretty cool and I don't think he has gas. Also, he is loaded (wealthy Bolivian family -- among the only people I am related to with money, married my dad's sister).

I'm not sure. They showed last night all the stuff they did in the apartments to remove all reflective surfaces. They even sprayed some substance on the tv's and microwave doors, etc. to keep them from being able to see their reflections. They also mentioned going through all of that w/r/t the gym that they went to, but I'm not sure what safeguards were used at the stores. I would guess they were only allowed to go to certain ones, but I guess they didn't have a camerman escort 24/7.

Agreed. I only wish there were more of them.
