I don't know, but probably so. And your point is...?

That the reason she started the Special Olympics is that she cared for her sister and wanted to develop a program to help people with similar conditions.

OK.

(Sorry, I thought you were disagreeing with me about something -- and I couldn't figure out what.)

Darling, I could never disagree with you, unless you said that you looked fat in that dress.

You can't even keep track of your own delusional rambling, so I certainly can't expect you to keep up with me or anyone else on the board. We weren't discussing Iraq and sanctions, you stupid cunt. Bilmore and I were talking about genocide, and its alarming presence in so many parts of the world.

If you can't keep up, the go lie down in the corner and wait until the voices in your head have reduced themselves to one.
Not quite the caliber of your "voices in your head" post on FB. I give it 3.5 stars.

Your forgot to add this, Ty:

"In a letter sent to City Elections chief Lisa Artison, Walker said that he had "serious questions" about the need for that many ballots [938,000] when the city reported having 382,000 registered voters in September."

The total population in Milwaukee: 596,974 in 2000 and 593,920 in 2004

The total number of people who are of legal voting age in Milwaukee in 2004: 423,811

Total votes cast in 2000 fall election: 245,670

Total votes cast in 2002 fall election: 141,351 (pre-registration of 335,889)

So tell me - with a straight face if you can - why the city would need 514,189 more ballots than there are voting-age citizens?
I do know that you can register on voting day in Wisconsin, and it also seems reasonably obvious that since you're sending the ballots out to many different precincts, you're going to need to make sure that each has more than enough -- so some overage is surely necessary. It would seem prudent to me to plan for greater, not lesser, turnout this time than in the last two elections.

Personally, I've decided yes. For two reasons:

1. No man could possibly be that interested in pregnancy and childbirth.

2. I decided that trying to prove that someone I regard as a complete asshole shares my gender, or any characteristic with me at all, is counterproductive to my general sanity. I might as well try to prove that she shares my political persuasion (on that point, you, my friend, are fucked.)

I mean if you are talking about screwing with the public's right to vote, the Nader crap dwarfs everything you're talking about.
Good point, Hank. The problem of getting to the polls and finding out you can't vote at all is dwarfed -- dwarfed, I say -- by the prospect of getting to the poll and finding that while you can vote, you must write in Ralph Nader (or Lyndon LaRouche, or Charles Bukowski) to vote for them. Oh the humanity!

The chief frustration of the GOP neocons and chickenhawks with the left (and the reason they take to insulting the left as "elites" and changing the subject all the time) is because, as far as I can see, at least on Iraq, they've got no rebuttal. They're throwing haymakers all over the place while the left ducks and weaves and flurries them with body shots.

The GOP should throw its one good punch - "Hey, stupid, the war is over there now, not here!" Sure, that'll anger the Mideast and the French, but fuck it... you can repair those rifts after you get re-elected.

What's the point? You complaining that things got quiet around here? It's like watching a squad of drunk high school football players dare each other to run into a wall. One at a time. Ka-plunk (ouch, you suck), Ka-plunk (ouch, you suck), Ka-plunk (ouch, you totally fucking suck).

I'm sober now.

No doubt you need some overage.

But really? 2.21 ballots per every non-felon over 18?
