it appears that b'nb picked the wrong former superhero (Adam West, still kicking). and I've added paigow's hit for Rodney Dangerfield to the official tally. hard to belive that is the only hit in the last couple of weeks considering the recent rash of celebrity deaths.

Not technically celebrities, but I mourn their loss nonetheless.

some of my favorite music from early punk is on "Peel Sessions" Cds -Buzzcocks/Gang of Four especially.

Poll- what celebrity do wish would die (divorced form the contest- how can Al Lewis keep going?)?

I briefly saw Alan Alda in a movie last night, and thought I could do without him making any more movies. Insufferable pompous sself-righteous shit.

You have to list all the rules of the poll, don't you?

1. Don't say W.
2. Really, we mean it.
3. Cheney is probably off-limits too.

And, Hank, isn't it sort of callous to wish death on anyone? Someone told me that once in connection with this pool.

(I'd say Michael Jackson if I wasn't worried that the coverage of his death alone would drive me bonkers, so instead I'll say OJ.)

I don't remember that. I do remember someone saying it was callous to celebrate the deaths of celebrities.

So, then would Katherine Harris be off limits?
