I would put brackets all over the place to annoy the crap out of RP and would have red markered and rewrote the whole thing, but that is just me. No actual suggestions and too tired to revise.

ummmm, no. Pluto was a full-fledged planet, it wasn't probationary. He's like a partner who was voted full-share when maybe the firm didn't really think it through. Now the firm realizes he doesn't have enough pull to stay a partner, and so he's of counsel.
