I would suggest calling and complaining, as their customer service is generally quite good, altho I have never dealt with them with a hardware problem. You may just have a defective box.*

*While not intentional, I'm leaving it that way
Why not do digital cable? Io.

Nonetheless, I have never let bygones be bygones and I do not plan to start now.
Ahem. You, mon ami, are not part of the bygones discussion. No one cares what you do with your bygones.

Sorry, right, leased it. I will have to call them. Unfortunately I hate the unit so much for such a variety of reasons that I'm not sure that getting a new one that actually works correctly will dissipate my anger all that much.

No digital cable for me. No NFL Season Ticket.

I think there is some Tivo licensed alternative available, but we got this because it was *supposed* to work better with DirecTv. Ha. Let this be a warning to all of you...

I have the same problem. And oily scalp. I am hair-challenged. But, in the name of science, I will try the bnb system and the gwnc system sometime in the next month and report back because I do think that washing it everyday with shampoo is stripping it. Maybe I'll even go double blind challenge on Mr. Man and figure out which he thinks looks/feels best. Fun!
I'm pretty sure he'll go along with the experiment. You won't need to blind him.

I posted on how Notbob could take initial steps to solve this whole problem, but I get double ignored when I give advice:(

No. Those things aren't linked to the way people look at you. Those are all measures of your value as a human being.

My own theory is that he does it because he's gotten one too many caught in the old zipper. Commando can be a dangerous thing if you're untiddy in your precious.

I'm whiffing. You can't take it with you. No U-Hauls ever follow a hearse.

I've never been a latest and greatest keeping up with the Joneses type chick. We have what we have. I have a clothes fetish sure but that is about it. And I admire nice cars. As discussed I am apathetic about vacuum cleaners [Hi TM!] and cell phones. My cell phone is like the lowest common denominator. as is my poor Ipod.

It's not JUST a mall. It's "[a]s developers call the package "the largest urban shopping center west of the Mississippi."

Plus, there's a Slanted Door. And Wiches.

No. It was unintentional, but I think would have been funnier with "weirdly." Or "oddly."

There are some clouds in the small patch of sky I can see.

I am on a conf call with some incredibly slow (stupid) people. I declined to join them in the small conference room, because I might not be able to resist the temptation to call them stupid to their faces. Honestly. They are like, um, whatever animal or reptile has the least evolved brain. Someone please tell me what this is, so I can call them the right thing.
I believe you're thinking of the Komodo Dragon. In addition to being the least evolved species on the planet, it is also one of the oldest. One might reasonably conclude there is a connection there.

But he let them slip away, out of kindness, I suppose.

Not anymore. I am turning in my self-assigned politeness police badge. (Yeah, I've said it before, and I'll believe it when it happens, too.)

Have at it, folks.

When you have small children, the quality of the mall experience is not in proportion to the size of the mall. Rather, the likelihood that the children will flip out tends to approach 1.0 as the size of the mall increases. They say that the curve is asymptotic, but I doubt this very much.

We need a chart! Pie graphs, please. or scatterplots.
