I think W keeps Bill away from Laura. He has a track record of admiring women who carry a bit more up top than does his blushing bride.

LB: "Oh, well I think its wonderful to have a healthy appetite. George loves to eat. He eats lots of food. I enjoy food also."

BC: "Uh, yeh. You ever seen Lincoln's secret cabinet? Lemme show you... its in his bedroom."

I would have jumped at this opportunity. But if you knew this guy, you would know that it was a huge dissapointment. His whole ego and self worth is wrapped up in his being a close friend of Ws and an insider that the administration trusts. This appointment made it loud and clear that he is neither.

The Ambassador to Morrocco told me I could have had the Bermuda spot if I had kept my mouth shut (and stopped writing those editorials). Because of my big mouth I have the priviledge of Slave, Less, Gattigap and Sidd taking my hard earned money at the poker table instead of getting paid to get a sun tan. It's a cruel world.
Oh, quite whining. You promised me a referral if I called your stupid bet, and I went for it.

And if you stopped hanging up on Frist.

I spent three hours this morning strategising on how to get rid of Pombo. He has been quite a bad boy so it may not be as hard as I thought.

To help out Spanky, he should review this footage of the SOTU speech. Rivetizing.

The biggest problem is these stupid Gerrymandered districts. Every seat in California is safe, so the only way to get these guys is in the Primary.

The Ironic thing is that the liberals in this state (and the Unions) we the biggest defenders of the system that allows Gerrymandering, and because of it, it is very difficult to get rid of Congressmen (or State Senators or Assemblymen) who are even corrupt.

If I could rewrite the constitution, besides putting in a right to privacy, I would not allow legislators to draw their own districts and would require all primaries to be open primaries.

I vote for these close minded, un-libertarian, big spending GOP pricks - WITHOUT QUESTION - because the only people running against them are blind to the enemy, and just as un-libertarian, yet bigger spending DMC douchebags...who are just as beholden to the Abramoffs of the world (47% of his payoffs), pussys that vote "for Alito", until they "vote against him", and have to send a 16 day-elect Governor with the Rock's eyebrow schtick to give a retort to the SOTU.

My party sucks right now. But as far as I am concerned, we have only one legitimate party in this country, like it or not.

And on that note, I retire to the beach. See you in a month.

Aloha,

2. The GOP is the worst party, except for all others.

When will the fucking Dems get over this fantastic belief that Govt can somehow fix the economy? Say we gave the Dems what they want - repeal of tax cuts. What would that do? What does taking money from people and putting it in the govt's hands do to help the economy? I agree that it theoretically provides more funds for states and the fed govt to provide services. But those services are not going to give the middle class new jobs. The Dems seem to be arguing - when they approach anything coherent - that the answer to our soft employment problem, which lies at the foundation of all our economic woes (and they are only going to get worse), is to put more money into govt services? How does that cure our problem with foreign labor competition?

BTW, wouldn't it benefit the economy more to privatize govt services as much as possible? If we need a buyer for our labor, why not make it Uncle Sam? He'd do a lot more good in that capacity than merely being a handout provider. At a minimum, we'd create more efficient services. Is there anyone who doubts a company, which has to make profits and run an organized, efficient ship, wouldn't provide better services more effectively than the govt? I hate dealing with corp behemoths, but at their worst, they move 5X faster than any govt angency I've encountered.

So there's some fraud when you use private contractors. Those losses are a fraction of what the govt wastes running a comparabale program.
