I was at the grocery Monday and bought a bottle of Boonaroo, recalling that Sebby had recommended it. Turns out it was sunnybunny. In any event, it was worth the $7.50. I'm always happy when I can find a bottle under $10 that I like.

Poll: What's the most recockulous thing you've ever heard was successfully* expensed or charged by a GA to a BIGLAW firm?

Tales of tittybar visits are appreciated, but not because they're unusual.

*If the attempt to submit the expense was unsuccessful in a funny way, feel free to share that, too.

Who "made you" break the board? And what makes you think an asinine pointless post will revive it?

In other news, I broke a toenail this morning. And I just got a _)#$*(#)&$@ pedicure on Saturday.

I'm so fat that my legs stick straight out in front of me when I pee, and I can see the toenails then.

Conf to Hank: Conf only works if you use little teeny letters. italicizing doesn't cut it.

This is all rumor. SHE bought a diamond engagement ring. Told everyone about the "engagement" at one of those firm get togethers after work, before the bill came in. Tried to explain the bill as being "favors" the partner told her to get for a party the partner was having during the weekend that had just not come in yet. Of course, when the partner was questioned, she was fired. Oh, there was no "fiance" She wasn't even dating anyone.

Firm GA's were at a rooftop bar/bocce court for a "meeting". One GA drinks too much, barfs over the edge of the roof. Barf hits passing well-dressed pedestrian. Firm paid for drycleaning.

GP entry:

Since he was a sole proprieter of the tinyLAW practice by the end (his partners all left for greener, less psychotic fields) of the run, I guess it doesn't really count to anyone but the IRS, but a former boss of mine expensed, billed time to and otherwise funded his campaign for membership into the Bohemian Club with firm time, resources and support staff. I think it was justified as "business development."
