I really like the Saab, especially for the price (cheaper than the A3, which I can't get for under $29.5).
Every time we talk about cars, I say the same thing.

My Saab was my favorite car I've ever had.

I cannot wait for my SUV to finally keel over and die so that I can buy me a Saab station wagon.

Fine. Now you've insulted me as a stay-at-home mom and as a trust-fund baby.

Hmph.
I'm better than you!

Just kidding. lol

This is a JOKE. It does not convey that I took Gwinky's position as "an indictment of my lifestyle." I don't even take it as her "position." It was just a comment that she tossed onto the board, and I tossed one back.

I'm not offended by what she wrote either.
Excellent. I was concerned for a moment.

I can get you a nice deal on one, if you don't mind the odorless vapor eating away at your neurons.

I don't do Rover products. They are pretty, but that's about all. Cash pits for suburbanite knuckleheads who want to show off at Whole Foods.
Sebby Sebby you know that even if I ain't pretty I *like* pretty. Not functional, not the best.ever. but pretty.

AoN the H3 commercials with the SAHM who the Westchester SAHM type cuts her off "we're next" at the playground and she goes and gets a H3 and it says "get your girl on" are funny stuff indeed.

We (comfortably) fit three people and three dogs in it, and if you have a friend or family member who has an SUV for those every now and then trips to Home Depot or Ikea, it's pretty awesome.
Coltrane is too tall for a Mini Cooper. On the internets at least.

I wanted a Sequoia a couple of years ago. I loved it, driving-wise (also drove the Volvo one and some domestics). Not as pretty as the Landcruiser, but given the difference in cost, I wouldn't even let the salesperson entice me into sitting in the Cruiser. Not sure I'd want the size of it now, but it seemed like the best of all worlds at the time.

I'm pretty sure I've already killed off all my neurons.

And the Brazenette can fend for herself.

There are few manufacturers of automobiles that I would seriously consider taking off road. Rover and Jeep and maybe, maybe Toyota.

That said, you are right in that the suburbanite knuckleheads don't know what the fuck they have. Back when the Range Rover was (re-?)introduced in the US in the late 80s, early 90s a friend of ours brought hers to our ranch. She was afraid to drive it over a muddy patch of the pasture for fear that it might get stuck. No amount of proof could convince her that she had the best possible vehicle for getting through. I still think she just didn't want to get mud on her expensive car.

And the Discovery was a disaster of epic proportions. Not quite Aztec, but pretty fucking bad.
