If this were only true. The overwhelming bias against free trade among the Democrats (except the DLC) shows that the labor unions base is as strong as ever.

For sebby: More re the GOP giving Dean a Hitler mustache.
link

The only thing the GOP can be faulted for is taking a photo from the web and not looking at the finished product.

The photos of Dean without the "moustache" are the actual photoshops.

Here is the original photo:

http://www.blogman.net/mt2/archives/deangoesmad2.jpg

They cleaned it up after the fact.

What crap.

Sure. Because we all agree that it was such a lame thing for the Republican Party to have done. I didn't expect anyone to argue about it.

Actually, if you look at the site I linked to, you'll see that they had to work to find a version with the 'stache. It would have been simpler to use the version without.

Probably no one at the RNC noticed it until some blogger pointed it out. If they had really wanted to make Dean look like Hitler then they would have just made the moustache clear and unmistakable.

Once it was pointed out they changed it naively thinking the bloggers would drop it and move on.

If by chance they did intentionaly put in a subtle shadow to submliminally suggest that Dean is like Hitler, then they are a lot smarter than I give them credit for. However, if they had done that I think they would have just claimed that it was the original picture untouched so they could leave the picture up there to do what they wanted it to do.

But since that wasn't their intention they took it down.

If I was in charge at the RNC the picture would never had been changed and left as it was. Once it went up the blood was in the water, so why change it? Changing it is not going to accomplish anything. Just leave it and let the bloggers suck on it.

Sure. Mustaches appear on photos all the time. Just a coincidence, I'm sure. Surely nobody meant anything by it.

Dude. It really doesn"t really look much like a mustache. If it wasn"t for the otherwise Hitler-like pose, it would not look like a moustache at all.

But the blogs say it is so it must be true, right?

the guy who taught me to do litigation, taught me that one should never predict a % liklihood of winning- instead you should say "you have a good case, but whether you have a 40% chance of losing or a 20% chance of losing doesn't matter- because the loss is a 100% lose." translation- if they get you you're dead. but that wasn't the point of my original post- my point was that in the US Jews really can't gather w/o security because there is a real risk an Islamist will kill bunches of them.

Do you think the Islamic kids olympics needs real intense security here?

my kid can't go to a sport event w/o 100 cops- i can't pack my anal wart creme in carry on- and Howard Dean is most worried about how some guy in Gitmo is having HIS rights trampled. fuck it- he is Hitler.

I was begged to stay and asked to leave. A love/hate relationship, like most in my life. Go figure.

And I actually am well aquainted with one of CT's fine winemakers. Not too shabby, atks.

Why is it so hard to admit that he is raving luning facist? Or do you deny the obvious?

I sense the hand of intelligent design here..........
