The Macy's store brands are better than the May store brands (especially when it comes to housewares--I have some items from the Herald Square Cellar that are going strong 10 years after leaving NYC), so I'll probably be heading back at least to check it out.
I do semi-regularly shop at Nordstrom, and when I was working next door I'd pop into Saks to peruse the sale racks (they marked things down further than Nordstrom did before sending them off to Off Fifth v. The Rack).

Foleys was nothing particularly great, so no one is up in arms about the change over to Macys here (except all the people who worked at Foleys). It's just a question of what's going to happen to the Macys in Galleria 3, since the Foleys in Galleria 4 is the nicer and newer store.
I avoid the Galleria so I'll probably never know the answer to that little mystery until the next time I have to go to the Apple Store.
