Right, I would expect nothing less from you. No unecessary "oh my god is she bow=wow woof; scare dogs off a meat wagon, her poor husband" or anything like that, but that ain't you. Fair, balanced. above average this, below average that.

Hank, the girl has some self-respect. Subjecting herself to that would be humiliating.

I just decided that a hank-(guy who killed Jon Benet) would be in poor taste. First time I passed on an avatar for moral reasons- so I may well have a heart also!

I test 147.

I am not subjecting myself to this for abuse...or to be maligned afterwards. I am not a model nor do I play one on tv. I am not MENSA and I am not rich or white.

I am doing this since I feel it is fair since I stepped I should back it up with factual verification that I am indeed considered attractive.

I've met maybe ten or so people in my life who've told me their IQ. I've never heard one under 140.

This would seem to defy the averages nationally.

And I don't hang out with smart people.

We see this guy everywhere. Ok, not everywhere, but he was slumming it at the Maggiano's across the street from our apartment on a recent Friday night. And he emceed some City of Hope fashion show that we went to a while back. In his defense, that Maggiano's is right next door to CBS, so maybe he is actually working or something now? Daytime tv?

I hadn't heard individual contributors before. I think your okay with minions as long as none of them are around. Same goes for HR people. The latter also don't like to be referred to as "wastes of space and oxygen."
Sweet pea, I am an HR person. As are my minions. We are part of a subgroup of HR, but nonetheless we are HR.

You were at the lowest tier????? Because only the low-tier people are Individual Contributors. Lawyers seem to be Lawyers, not Individual Contributors.

This is very interesting. I am a card-carrying Mensa member. So, by my calculations, I am smarter than you, I am richer than you, and I am whiter than you. Holy Shit! I am better than you!!

You're not the HR I was referring to. You're benefits. Benefits people are wonderful. At least at oil companies.

And I was not lowest tier at Shell. Admin Assistants were below me on the org chart. They had more power and influence, but they were lower on the org chart.

And at BP, everyone was a Team Member, even the Head of Global Tax. Until he got caught banging a minion. Then he got thrown off the team. And some lovely parting cash.

Perhaps a board title?

And cuz I'm lazy, I'll put this in a single post.

I once made it to Target about ten minutes or so after it opened. The manager was giving last minute instructions to the "team" right in the aisle in front of all the check outs. At the end of his pep talk, they had to do a team cheer. I quickly darted to the back of the store to avoid embarrasssment by proxy. I couldn't look any of the team members in the eye when I encountered them.

Oh, and I'm sad that I missed Shark Week last week on the Discovery Channel. Especially this:
Quote:

Science of Shark Sex
Fri, Aug. 4, 10-11 p.m. ET/PT — World Premiere

This world premiere special travels to the famed Tiputa pass, in the atoll of Rangiroa in French Polynesia, to study one of the world’s greatest concentrations of grey reef sharks. Because understanding the sexuality and reproduction of sharks is key to their preservation, a group of three international scientists set out to study the grey reef sharks’ mating habits, which have never been captured on film. The film reveals the deadly risks grey reefs must take to give life.
I hope the highlights show up on You Tube soon.
