Not exactly (see this post and the one following).

What the hell happened? It appeared to be a rout and then, not so much. Too much confidence in the second half? I was not able to watch the game seeing as I was at another game.

With sufficient thrust, turkeys fly just fine.
How many turkeys did you sodomize to prove this theory?

CUP-FUCKING-CAKES? What flavor?

Though, I went to the local alcoholic beverage place to get dinner, and American football was on, and it was really annoying with the clock stopping like every 6 or 8 seconds. WTF? That's stupid.

The guy who seemed to be the coach of the team that was losing, which apparently is also the team that won the bowl that is superb last year, looked pissy.

ETA the gruyere and ham pizza (for those who eat the pig) is really fucking good.

You know that that is not what Less does when you kiss him on the cheek, right?

I make a modified version of this pizza every few weeks - http://www.sysco.com/recipes/recipep...4&mealtypeid=8

I don't use the Sysco brand (not even sure what that is - just wanted to make prosciutto and gruyere pizza so Googled exactly that), but the basic premise is wonderful. The Trader Joe's premade pizza dough works well.

new t.v. shows

I watched Studio 60 last night. I was a bit worried as the avalanche of press that the show was getting made me think that the press was trying just a bit too hard to sell it. I was pleasantly supprised. The writing was tight and Matthew Perry was actually pretty decent in an almost non-Chandler Chandler role.

I believe that I will watch next week as well.

He [Matthew Perry] looks very handsome in the ads in Times Square. Non-Bloated-Bloviated. He's a good looking kid and he's aging okay. I think even Chandler maybe he was a tad too pretty boy maybe now after 10 detoxes or whatnot he looks okay.

Yup. It's early, but this show has real potential.

Accordingly, I have reinstated the Nice Job, Aaron Sorkin Altar* at the Gattigap household.

Sure, though there's an entirely separate altar for that stuff.

That must be the "offerings on his behalf to the pagan gods" subsection.

L'il Ty, who has watched more than his share of baseball and soccer, couldn't agree more.

easy lunch tip

I bought some packaged Indian entrees in a pouch from Trader Joe's. I'm trying to eat lunch in, but putting a lunch together is too much. So I see these pouch things, assume they'll be horrible, but buy 3- eggplant something, lentil something and a paneer and spinach.

they were quite good, considering pouch to microwave to Hank.
The paneer was not firm like in a restaurant, and the vegetables are too mushy (close to baby food)- but the flavors are fine. It's like, if this were a restaurant it would go out of business, but it sure is an easy way to get a quick lunch.
