Our company idea came about when we discovered how truly difficult it is to find modest clothing in most stores today. We found in talking to other people that we were not the only ones having this problem, that many people do value modesty today, and that their needs are not being met. Our hope is that by forming this company we will be able to make shopping for modest clothing easier and a lot more fun.

Modest by Design formalwear line. Motto: Clothing Your Father Would Approve Of. (Apparently, they didn't know dad too well.)

Well technically, it is still illegal and not something you just go around telling people. For fear of the tattletale that works in every office. That said, I don't know anyone who has smoked crack either. Officially. There are people I suspect and people I have accused (you want me to what? Are you smoking crack?) but no one officially. If my options were only those clothes and the low-low-low cut jeans with the high-high-high cut "shirts" (or short short short miniskirts with the shirts, etc.) I see girls wearing, I'd be so depressed. I might have to do a molly ringwald cut-up-and-re-sew-the-dress number.
