I tend to hold people who give out my contact information for these things in pretty low regard. I understand how forwarding works and when it does or does not include an actual e-mail address, and I assume that other people do as well. Therefore, I think the request was inappropriate, because she jumped the channels. She should have gone through her contacts and worked it out. I wouldn't have given the information out. I assume that things like that are treated on a need to know basis, which is how I treat them. If you need to know, you will know it. If you don't know it, you should assume that it's because you're not supposed to know. And you should deal with that through your contacts, not by jumping over levels in the contact chain to get the information.
Also, I won't give people's names to headhunters, financial planners, the guy who comes to the office to do custom shirts, etc. And I hate it when I get a call from some asshole who is all "Your friend Oswald is so happy with the custom shirts I make for him."
