Those costumes you posted resemble those (briefly) worn by the ladies of Deja Vu, not the women of the RSC production of Twelfth Night. I'd like to believe that adult interest in Halloween reveals an increased sophistication among adults, but the "Sex on a Tombstone" drink special pops that bubble for me. If that makes BRC an idealist and me a cynic, then so be it.
I actually think the increased interest in adult Halloween parties is largely an urban phenomenon (the suburban parents have to spend the evening walking their children from house to house in their subdivisions instead of letting them roam free) and has more to do with straights trying to hone in on queer Halloween celebrations (e.g., straights flocking to the Castro to gawk at extravagant gays in extravagant gay costumes) and/or yuppies trying to relive their fraternity costume party days. You go to certain bars in the Marina, and it's like a Greek mixer but with super-premium alcohol instead of the old kegs and plastic garbage cans filled with spiked punch. The same people, the same conversations. Just substitute "Where do you work?" and "What do you like to do on the weekend?" for "What's your major?" and "What house did you pledge?"

It was bound to happen.

Whaaaaa? There's a quantum leap here. Showing boobs has to do with women in law school and hookers how? I got news for you, PJ... those funbags are on display 24/7 under wraps or exposed, so freeing them on a beach or in a magazine ain't going to alter whether guys oogle them and objectify you.

I have the solution. If women are allowed to go topless on beaches in the USA, men must go bottomless on those same beaches. This would make men put their money where their mouths are. Wanna see tits? Well, then risk have your package scrutinized. Seems fair, no?

Funny you should say that because when NFH asked, I started thinking about my Halloweens for the last few years and there has been a little bit of both of those themes in connection with dressing up. THe first year I was here I didn't know many people and I went to a halloween party thrown by one of the firm recruiting chicks (yes, I realize that "firm" could work 2 different ways there). Lately I have mainly celebrated with my gay friends on Halloween (though that is already done for this year, so my costume party this Friday will be in straightville). Actually my gay friends have costume parties at times other than Halloween too. So any urge for dressup that I might have can be met at a variety of times throughout the year. Fun!

I could probably count on one hand the number of years that I have NOT dressed up for Halloween though, so I think for me it is just what you are supposed to do. However I would never wear a costume to work. That is just weird.

For those who don't look at the front page, I just had the site upgraded.

The reason we crashed before was that with so many people searching the site and clicking on internal links, we exceeded our memory. I decided, since we have a sponsor, to spend the extra 60 bucks a month for double the memory in hopes this will resolve that problem. We also should run faster.

So, if you see any problems or improvements would you please let me know?

the producer wouldn't let her talk and her people wouldn't want her to either. the producer is afraid the public would think what is wrong with the movie that he had to try and pay 500K to show tits. see the possibility of it, not realized hurts boxoffice. plus I never met a producer who wasn't an egotistic bastard. these guys would never allow a story of something they failed to pull off go public.
Halle wouldn't want it out either because it makes her seem prudish perhaps, although maybe not so much when Monster's comes out.
And the tits coming out in M.B. don't give her nearly the buzz that the Swordfish tits do. the Swordfish tits, although much briefer than M.B. are the ones you see on celebrity skin sites because in Monster Ball SHE HAS A LIZARD CLIMBING ALL OVER HER.
