No. That would be hurtful, if you'd said it. But I don't think you will; I know I occasionally bring a smile to your face Thurgreed, or what must pass for a smile in your case.

Really? I thought it was Hank, whining about why he should have won that uncovered that fact.

I wonder what he says at work when a partner chooses someone else to work with. Probably, "But I got in at 8:45 today, sir! He came in at 10:00! You just can't pick him!"

Because I listened to the Super Bowl while working in the kitchen, I missed all the fun visuals. I heard the sportscasters referring to the streaker but couldn't get to the living room quickly enough to see, at long last, what Shape Shifter looks like.

It sounds like missing it was a good thing, in a keeping the fantasy alive kind of way.

Confidential to Thurgreed:
A Judge just called. I have to get involved in very important discussion at the highest levels of commerce and the legal community. If I don't respond to some of your shit please don't think I'm here grinding my mental gears.

I watched the Superbowl in an apartment not too far from one of the rail stops, less than two miles from the stadium. About two hours before the game, I was outside on the patio watching the rail go by and I overheard a cell phone conversation from the patio next door. There was a huge ass wall between the two units, so I didn't see the speaker and I dont' think she knew I was there.

She was calling a friend and started her conversation with "guess where I am NOT?" And then she recounted how she and her husband had parked their car at their friends' apartment not too far from one of the rail stops, had walked to the rail and gotten on, go off at the stadium exit and laughed at the people trying to sell tickets for $3000 each, got to the stadium and found that they no longer had their tickets. Apparently they'd been pick-pocketed at some point on the rail. They searched around for a bit, talked to a few unsympathetic cops, and ended up getting back on the rail to go and watch the game elsewhere. Needless to say, she was pissed off.

I liked the Budweiser donkey commercial, and apparently Budweiser went to five different ad companies before deciding which one to go with. I can't remember, without refreshing my recollection, any of the other commercials.

this hits close to home. The bastard. Most of the "mistakes" in the last file he gave were really his fault, cuz he didn't explain stuff very much. The client said it wasn't going to sue, and just wanted to take its file, so no harm.
I thought for sure he knew that it was his fault, and I'd get the new file. I studied up on the client on the internet and everything. Then he gives the file to that other guy. I'm 3rd year, he's only 2nd! What gives?

Yeah, well. My mom, may she rest in peace, told me if I can't say something nice not to say something at all. I don't always manage this of course, but perhaps today I will.

Thurgreed's mom told me 2 things:
look out for her little boy, and don't let the man cheat me.

She didn't give you the sex-rap talk? That's surprising.

Has anyone seen this? Did we discuss it and I missed it? What a fucked up movie. I had a friend like Evie when I was 13. Pretty sure she kept me around because I was the perfect cover for her fiascos.

In certain scenes Mr. Kiss kept saying, "This would be hot if they were not supposed to be 13."

It was not the finest shape I have ever shifted into. I must be reading too many Atticus posts. Hirsute spokesmodel was not the look I was going for.

I have never understood this

BOSTON — Thousands of New England Patriots fans swarmed into the streets after the team's white-knuckle Super Bowl win, and some turned rowdy, overturning cars and lighting small fires. One person was killed when an SUV backed into a group of revelers.

I just don't get it. I am a sports fanatic on many levels but I just don't see myself tipping over cars, lighting fires and killing people because my team won (or lost, as the case may be). How does vandalism and death grow from "I am so damned happy that [insert your team here] won"? :shakehd:
