[confidential to Hank]Why are you wasting time an energy on this debate? Did you ever realize that while those on our side (and some more than others) will criticize Bush and commend Kerry when due, the reverse never happens? Just sit back, take your pot shots, and wait till it gets settled in January. We win either way. Either Bush is in fo fo mo, or we get to beat up on Kerry for 4 years. [/confidential to Hank]

Short answer- (this normally takes 10 posts to spring the trap- and we've done this about 6 times so i don't want to again)
No, i'm not a creationist.
I'm a "there is no really proven explaination for why we're here."

Because

Creationism = you believe in miracles

What people call "evolution"*=you believe in a string of several billion to one occurences, with a few w/o any explaination.

I'll say "If you want to cite science, you need to understand it can be wrong, just because a scientist said it does not make it any more unquestionable than if a priest says it."

i can't do it now, but the simple point is don't be pompous against people who are creationist. it is not a magnitude of difference away from evolution, as a dumb guy theory.

*I'm not talking about mastedons became elephants. that makes sense. one problem for me is how did single celled plants become animals with multiple cells and specialized cells (ie blood vessals). I want to believe in evolution, but no one can give me a theory, even google- our new god.

ps. I never troll. i fuck with people, but only when absolutely necessary.

If this isn't the saddest possible expression of a conservative outlook on life, I don't know what is.

I would suggest you PM club and bilmore and only post if they agree with the content. I think then you could be sure all your posts are justified. Cheers! bon chance!

If you think it is without any explanation, you are not paying attention to the evidence. One need only consider the change in colors of mothes or the mutation of baceteria that produce penicillin to believe the organisms can change in ways that make their survival more likely.

If you believe in these small mutations, and you note the obvious similarities between humans and, say, chimps, why are you resistant to evolution as an explanation for the variety of life?

I agree with your examples! how did a single celled plant come to have blood vessals. All I want is 1 theory. hint: Ty and Atticus are staying out of this for a reason.

I can't speak for AG, but in my case that reason is a 2001 Marietta Old Vine Zinfandel.

Sorta like if a foreman turned to a construction crew and says "we've done good work today, this prison will hold society's worst". Mr. Chinaski, you mind if I cut out early today... I've finished my second one this year and the inmates seem a bit angry.

3 words that add a full range of examples to what you are saying here. Guns, Germs & Steel. Giving humans the ability to domesticate animals and selectively modify plants and other living organisms was surely one of the 10 greatest gifts God gave man. And, along with opposable thumbs and that part of our brain that isn't dulled by crack, it separates us from every other living creature!
