OMG. I loved The Bionic Woman. I wanted to be her. Emergency! wasn't a particular favorite, but Adam-12 was a hit in my household.

Shameful as this is to admit (but this has been a cathartic day on the ol' FB, so I'll share), I still have VIVID memories of specific episodes. The one where she is participating in a beauty contest, and pretends to be in the shower - and then when the "headmistress" or whatever comes in for a room check, she comes out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her head, and the headmistress busts her by pulling the towel off her head to reveal her dry, unwashed hair -- do you ever think of that one?

I must be punchy, but making me laugh really hard. I can't stop. I think I may have a laughing fit to rival the very inappropriate one I had at my father's wake. Well, it wasn't inappropriate, really, because it was prompted by something very funny, but some people didn't get it.

I love Adam-12. The one where the drug pusher purposely drops a bag of pills out the window at a red light, right in front of Reed and Malloy, and they knew enough to be careful of an ambush- quelle magnifique!

and the one where the Engineer became a cop but kept fucking everything up was good too. and all the ones where Malloy was chasing skirts- what a horn dog- were double good!

Strangely, that is the exact episode I think of whenever I think of the show! It must be the towel, because, as I have posted before, whenever I think of Charlie's Angels I always think of the prison episode where Farrah is in a towel and gets a humiliating spray down from the prison's "headmistress." Hmm, maybe it's the "headmistress" thing. Very scary.
