Out of curiosity, does Texas qualify as "the south"?

Larry Brown sucks.
Foul Shaq. You're up 3 with seconds left? If Shaq touches the ball for .2 seconds, fucking foul him. I just don't get it.

Chauncey took a stupid shot the play before- that was the mistake. But overall, game 2 increased my confidence level. I think there'll be a series.
Shaq on the uncontested shot or Kobe at the end. They had TWO team fouls. Kobe even thought they were going to foul him rather then let him get off an open 3 (he said this after the game)...

Or at least get Teyshaun on Kobe.

Before you get too hasty about this, I must tell you they have some rather nice golf courses there.

No. Texas is its own country. And I don't really like IT either, but I haven't seen enough of it to form a true opinion. I love Austin though, which apparently isn't Texas.

I've never been to Dallas, Houston or San Antonio. So, like I said, my experiences are limited. I'm sure my opinion of Texas as being a haven for insecure rednecks who buy pick-up trucks and own guns b/c "that's what REAL men do" is just as exaggerated as a Texan's opinion of a big-city northerner as a tree-hugging hippie commie...

I thought Shaq would be shooting if they fouled him. He was hitting his free throws. He could hit one and bounce two, and then things are outside Pistons control. If you're saying they had fouls to give maybe they should have fouled someone/not Kobe. You run the risk of someone forcing a shot if you do foul. And Kobe didn't have an open 3. He had a tough shot. I agree Prince should have been on him- I'm not sure what that was about.

But overall Larry has done a great job. Did you think Game 2 would be close? I didn't.

Parts of it, yes. Other parts, not so much.

Texas is a big country. Like Australia.

So you are thinkin your opinion is pretty safe having not been to the three largest cities in the state (and three of the largest in the US)?

You're right. But I assume that Hilton Head would remain ours. You know. As a good faith gesture and so we can keep an eye on them.

I actually forgot that I've been to Hilton Head. Nice courses, but I'd sacrifice it if more jesus freaks would move there.

You do a TX tour, visiting all the FB Texans. Be sure to bring an appliance or two.

Um no. That's why I said that my opinion is exaggerated and that I haven't seen enough of Texas to form a true opinion. But apparently they substituted beer can shooting for reading comprehension in your redneck elementary school.

I thought you had plenty of these. Can't I just bring batteries for them?

It'll never happen. Too many retired jews live there. And they have the best tee times.
