Amen. I hate when people recommend a professional to me, and I use their services, find them incompetent, and when I tell the referring person what I thought, I'm invariably told "oh, but he was so nice." Like I give a fuck if somebody's NICE. Do the job, do it right, don't rip me off. This goes for doctors, car repair, contractors, whatever.

FWIW, fyi, for the record, I don't find PLF all that pretty and in fact I would tend to imply that it may be certain that he is less pretty than Carolyn Bessette but OTOH more pretty than Hillary, although that is not saying much. No offence.

Well, Hillary is older, but if we're comparing them each in their day I'd put Hillary and Bessette as about equal. Somewhat squirrelly face versus slightly horsey face, but otherwise reasonably attractive but not Wow!

But I'll bet Hillary is much more of a tiger, ready to come, see and conquer, while Bessette exudes that I'm from someplace you're not and I barely wake up for life attitude. John John was kinda into that, barely waking up himself from what I saw from my particular sidelines. And if the media appointed most eligible bachelor in the universe saw something in her, who am I to judge.

Please assign numbers accordingly and explain why anyone cares.

Though I did not school with Carling, I did know her when we were school-aged. I concur with str8, she's gorgeous. She was a knock-out in high school.

the medical chat board I've seen was operation-specific, not tied to a doctor. everyone who posted was negative. those who have a good experience get out and enjoy life, like on the TV commercials. the posters are the unfortunates, the statistics, anyone looking for a chat board to post about medical things is looking to complain.

Apropos of Janet's husband the bar owner, I was pleased to learn this morning on ESPN that this guy was elected to the Hall of Fame.

Oh, and I'd give Carolyn a solid 8. She's no Rena Sofer (or Ashley Judd), but I'd dance with her at the Christmas* party at the country club.

*Yes, I said Christmas -- she's a WASP from Connecticut, isn't she? -- though eventually I'd get to celebrate the Generic Winter Gift-Giving Holiday instead.

Are you also part of the horsey set? Not horsey-looking, though, really horses have quite nice asses as long as they are relatively well-groomed and youngish and get good workouts.

She does have a nice body, and she's not too skinny in general (her weight is officially cited as 121, which at 5'4" would give her a BMI of 20.8, on the not-extremely lower end of normal - but I've also seen Parker cited as weighing about 100). It is the low body fat that was drawing my comment, which, based merely on my observation of her continually ripped arms, stayed pretty low throughout her last pregnancy. She's nearly got 6-pack abs, though she's at least honest about having to work out about 4 hours/day to have it.
