It wouldn't be the coaches. The ballots are filled out by Sports Information Directors. It would not surprise me if the changed ballots were all from the Big XII. I believe they share some of the BCS revenue.

The only part of this that could plausibly implicate ass-fucking is "Big XII." And that sounds painful.
