This is true. There is no one really looking over our shoulder any more here. One of the reasons we chose to go with a VPS, aside from stability and control, is that they have fewer limits on what you can post.

The limits on explicit pictures is for our users who worry about a boss walking in and seeing the pictures, or a log being created on their work computer/server. It is not out of concern for the host. In fact, here are their rules on the matter:

Sexually orientated
 

Can we fix "sexually orientated" to read "oriented" or "sexual in nature"? As written, it sounds like something my father would say. Probably outable as I've told this story to many, but he pronounces gynocologist with a soft g. As if he were saying "vaginacologist." Not entirely illogical, but embarrassing as hell.

Or is it meant to be some kind of tantric sex thing, since "orientate" means to turn to the east?

I'm not sure if he knew about my mad crush or not. I thought I was kind of obvious, and I think my roommate at the time (who was male) joked around with him about it, but then last night he was telling me all about how he is terrible at reading women's signals and can never tell whether a woman wants him to ask him out or not and that's why he likes to become friends with a woman before going out with her b/c he can read her better once they are friends and gauge her level of interest.

So you can see why this is driving me crazy. Oh, and to complicate matters we live in different cities, although he has made it clear that he's interested in moving to my city and is looking for jobs here (so far without luck dammit)

If he reads this board, I am so busted. If you are reading this board, make a freaking move on me already, dammit!

OK: Read your own post. You are friends, no? He knew about the crush. His talk about signals and friends means "throw me a rope here, b-l." "I like your perfume" means "let's get naked." He doesn't say "let's get naked" because while he definitely knew about the crush, he doesn't know if it's still in effect and is afraid of rejection.

You should jump him. Why do you want him to make the move? Seize the fucking day, for god's sake.

If I could get him near my pillow, this wouldn't be an issue.

He actually said my car smelled nice and i said "of course, it smells like me" and he said "you DO smell nice, that's a great perfume, what's it called."

That cuts against the him wanting to jump my bones, doesn't it?

Uh, yeah, it does. But all is not lost.

I agree with the Robust Puppy. Carpe diem. Make a move. Email him and tell him what you wish he were thinking when he said that.

The traditional move in this situation would be to thank him for dinner and remind him that you used to have the biggest crush on him.

His response will give you a much better handle on his intentions and may spark something if he was otherwise unaware.

any image on the web that fits the size limitations will do. I went to my curret favorite website (www.ready.gov), found what the Homeland Security thinks of the security of my particiular homeland (or perhaps it's a good aggie joke), and grabbed the picture.

I resized it in microsoft paint to 100 x 100, uploaded it on another site that I regularly go to, and I've used it as my avatar.
