Houston Hobby has a Wendy's, right across from the Pappasitos. I'm pretty sure that there's a Wendy's on the north side of Terminal C at IAH, but it's a hell of a walk if your flight is in the new terminal.

Okay, so I like Ann Taylor and on the website it is "all about" belts over suit jackets, belts over cardigans, wide croco belts belts belts belts. I'm festive but not a blob but even that aside, kids, will I look like a tool if I buy a big croco belt and slap that sucker over a suit jacket?

Is it AH-mij, accent on the AH, or Oh-MAZH accent on the Mazh? I've heard it both ways and want to know which way to ridicule.

And for the record, I've also heard it pronounced HOM-ij.

Party at the mansion?

I've never met Beyonce, though I have met her parents. Very nice people, at least in a party setting.

I like her clothing line, house of dereon? didn't spell that right, gotta say though, suits with a peplum jacket are so not me, and her mom is beautiful. she seems like a good person.

You mean with a hard-H? Like Ha-ha-homage? That's extra super primo retarded.

I go either way. I pay AH-midge to y'all, but certain of my posts are an Oh-MAZH to a few select posters.

Tread lightly and be really selective. And if you end up wearing it, don't pull it too tight. That goes for everyone. It's not a corset, and if you need to pull it tight to get it to create the shape you're going for, then forget it.

Thank you. I also think, to try to not go "too wide" or "too thin" on the actual belt width. I think the point is to try to create interest at your waist, not to kill yourself with it.

Oh-MAZH is fake intellectual bullshit (perhaps used ironically by some? str8?). It is not standard american english, see (or listen) http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/homage , which gives the ha-mij pronunciation 2d billing. I don't like the hard h either, but it's better than blatantly mispronouncing a word in a misguided effort to sound smart.

Another bunch of parasites trying to capitalize on my internationally-known, progressive, smart, funny, tall and sinewy internet persona. It gets tedious after a while. In fact, 90% of my day is spent just brushing the little people off my coat-tails.

And did you know that Gwinky now likes me more than booze? That made me feel good, because she used to really like booze. A lot.

Spankster. you don't need Burger's link to put someone on ignore- you can do it yourself AND you can ignore the people who won't use Burger's link. I think the threat of being spanky-ignored would straighten out those few.

I understand what you are saying, but what I don't understand is why we think it is pretentious when someone pronounces a french word the way it is supposed to be pronounced in french (leaving aside how people feel about the french in general).

I get confused by the Americanization of french words because in Canada sometimes we pronounce them more closely to the french. For example, I pronounce "foyer" as "foyay" because that is how I learned the word (in English) and people here actually say foyerrr. It sounds funny.

I threw out a reasonable proposal and was turned down. And then Burger offered what I thought was the perfect solution. Maybe a little harsh but the reasonble proposal was turned down.

Spank. I understand you wish to put a coordinated "ignore" hit on me, and all that, but I have to say *by default* I haven't said a word today about my appearance short of self deprecating ann taylor comments or diet comments. a few, of which are interdispersed in the vernacular of the board.

Agree. I was more trying to make pleasant conversation (on-topic, even!), which, possibly, would have led to the same result as in your original proposal.
