I recently argued with someone because I said it was the best movie ever. Every line in the movie is so good. Plus Jamie Lee Curtis had a ridiculous rack.

would your opinion change if it were proven true JLC was a hermaphrodite?

Diner is the best movie ever made.

leaves are still green

I keep getting e-mails from stores where I've purchased clothing before telling me that I need new fall boots, autumn dresses, etc. Given that I haven't yet turned off my air conditioning, I think they're jumping the gun.

My favorite so far has been from Fredericks of Hollywood imploring me to buy the Essential Fall Corsets. I had no idea they were seasonal.

I agree that Diner is a great movie.

"All I did was I parked the car on a nice lonely road, I looked at her, and I said fuck or fight."

But the best movie ever made? I don't think so.

Inconceivable? I do not think that that word means what you think it means.

That's beautiful. Seriously, almost. Though I imagine it more easily with cowboy hats and broken beer bottles on the floor rather than rainbow-decorated fake nails and Miami-Vice-style suits and t-shirts.

Not to worry. I threw a stone cold groove and all was forgiven.

I'm allegedly lunching at the Hahvard Club this week and it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I got the invite. Like, oh sure...

See also WKRP in Cincinatti.

Quoting The Princess Bride does not appear to be a dying art, thank goodness.

I am happy that there are people on this board that care about the same things I do.

*I'm speaking of one particular kid. I had to explain to him last night why people hated disco so much when it first came out. Felt like Granny.
YOU felt like grandma?

So one of the guys comes in and is telling me about Del the Funky Homosapien and this video he does where he's paging Mr. Bob Dobolina (hi Penske!). And I said, that was originally a Monkees song (hi Not Bob!). I said you know who the Monkees are, right?

Thankfully, he knew who the Monkees are. Were. But still. Felt like grandma.

If you weren't even born when Monkees songs first hit the charts, you should hush.
