There was a DVD of the Battlestar Galactica pilot episodes put out a few years ago. It's available on Amazon but the quality doesn't look to be very good. A quick search of a couple of fansites seems to suggest that the new set will be 8 DVD's (apparently all 22 episodes that aired), will retail for $99 and will be out in time for Christmas. Interesting note I picked up from one site... the show was a top 25 rated series in 1978 but was cancelled the next year because of the then-high production costs of $1 million an episode... These days $1 million doesn't even buy one of the "Friends" for a half-hour episode. |

one "almost gone" is Elvis. in 20 years no one alive will have seen him, and there will be this huge mansion in Mephis with big cars and bad wallpaper/furniture charging decreasing admission. one thing that'll let me know I'm way over the hill is when I see the news item that Graceland is being razed to make the Hound Dog Condos. |

Given that they have put 10 classic atari games in a joystick, for about $20, methinks that $20 isn't exactly a technology-cost-adjusted price. |

Lol. :P If it weren't for the ass-backwards tendencies of the Mormon church, half of my high school friends might have graduated before becoming impregnated. And no caffine -- I would just die! Seven |

I was at a bar and played Kids in America by Kim Wilde on the jukebox and this young lady told me she thought this song had its origins on the Clueless soundtrack. |

I loved those hoppy ball things. We, of course, didn't have any. And my parents wondered why I always wanted to go over to friends' houses to play instead of having them at my house . . . Do kids have trampolines these days? I was so jealous of my friends with trampolines back when I was a kid. |
