I am not endorsing Not Me or Gin Rummy's text or opinions, no offence, but they should be able to post the pics as long as they are relevant to the point of the speech and/or the debate (and as long as they wouldn't get people in trouble with work IT people or worse, but these pics were in the NYT, and doubt any firms ban the NYT, although based on Maureen Dowd alone, maybe they should).

Good theory, but to be fair, it's more than pulling a lever, as the lever-pulling device isn't delivered to your doorstep. Although I suppose you could move and sign up for absentee ballot receipt.

I vote, but I walk to public transportation and pass my polling location, so it's pretty convenient -- I can't say I'd be as dedicated in years where there's no presidential/senatorial/mayorial race to be decided.

Don't get me wrong -- I think everyone should vote; I think it's the turnout numbers (even in presidential elections!) are shameful, but it isn't the same thing as having the newspaper delivered to your door, or clicking the remote.
