What level of office? David Catania, DC Council, was a partner at Akin Gump (he's of counsel now, or something).

Hillary Clinton might qualify, except she wasn't at biglaw, and her billing records were as suspicious as Penske's.
Yeah, order of time at BigLaw vs politics career might matter too. FOrmer mayor of Dallas returned to BigTex (not BigLaw) after his stint as mayor. That sort of position can make a person into quite the rainmaker. And then there is Guilliani, who is now a name partner at another BigTex.

One of the mayoral candidates in the last LA election is at BigLaw in LA. He didn't win though...

When have I (or any of the chicks on the board) said that we are getting a raw deal?

You are the only one that is saying that we are lonely and bitter, and you are backing that point up with a generalization that all women who try to have a career are bitter and lonely, or pay some kind of price. Well, we are specific evidence to the contrary! Doesn't that make you happy! It does me.

Come on. Dig deep into that head of yours and come up with an insult better than the typical anti-feminist crap. It won't mean that anyone will like you, but you might gain a measure of respect.

**mmmmm, Shaft.
Glad you are happy dear.

As a junior associate or at all?

Does is skew the demographic if I say that I hate my job, I hate this place, I hate my boss, I pretty much hate everyone I work with and my only true shot at happiness is to eat a lot of corn this weekend and win the lottery?

A great opportunity for before and after pictures.

Giuliani, although he was a partner just to bring in some income while spending all his time preparing for his campaign.

Jim Thompson, former Governor

Ty Fahner, former State's Attorney

Ed Vrdolyak, crooked alderman.

Of course, all of the above, except for Fast Eddy, had their political career and bootstrapped that into a BIGLAW partnership.

Is it 1976 or older? Because I've seen some sweet old, Delta 88s and the like in metalic aero-blue, with white leather.

extra points if you've lowered it.

double extra points if you've installed hydraulics.
Given that I thought it was obvious that all socks were mine, I assumed my sock post on this were obviously chalked up to me.

FD: I posted on the autos board about it. No hydraulics. Sorry.

You're married. You're not part of the demographic. Don't worry.

She asked me to confirm that she is an actual person. I spoke to her on the phone. Her phone number is from a law firm. And, if she is an actress, she is doing a good job. I discovered that she likes to shop. The conversation wasn't unfriendly and I couldn't tell if she was speaking in all lower case.

I will update you once I have met her and I will tell you if she's ugly or pretty and what her tits are like. I know some of you don't care, but since so much of what she says (or is) has to do with her looks, I am curious.

That's it.
